If this seems like a repeat it's because it is. We thought we did a good job of going to Duluth to eat and drink a year ago but we returned this weekend to really perfect the art. I especially needed an escape from stressful life stuff, crazy work drama, my dirty house, and getting ready for school. When Kori texted us a week ago with the simple question: "Are you two free next weekend, do you want to go to Duluth?" the only answer to give is yes, yes I am free. We hit Duluth for only a little over 30 hours but we managed to squeeze in 3 restaurants, 2 bars, multiple stores, 2 beach frolics and a long nap. It was a glorious escape.
Kept trying to make this damn elevator picture happen. It was just too stupid to work out.
The moon over my favorite place on earth.
Love this place so much and it's only better with these two.
My lake! Makes my heart happy.
None of us were even close to a birthday and we weren't officially celebrating anything but our server must have thought differently on account of the bottle of champagne, two appetizers and two desserts. We made a group wish and blew it out together...only for it to flicker back to life a second later.
Arielle declared in the car "You know what I think I would be really good at? Being a dictator." Here she is!
Annnnd...a food truck.
Found a rose petal on the floor outside a do not disturb sign. Really happy for them. Blegh!
And brunch at the spinning place.
Kori seriously contemplating the cat pillow.
YIKES.
Holding up the cat pillows for Kori's big decision.
So beautiful. Till next time Lake Superior!
